Event description
An investigation, five challenges and a trunk containing incomplete archival records that must be opened within the allotted time. Can you find the missing information to reconstruct the history of the ice storm that paralyzed Montréal in 1998?
Storm of the century
In January 1998, Québec was hit by an epic ice storm. In Montréal, entire neighbourhoods were plunged into darkness. Travel became difficult and daily life was turned upside down. Some of the archival records describing the storm have gone missing and risk being lost forever. It’s up to you and your team to find them to reconstruct this collective Montréal memory.
Five challenges to complete
Explore different stations, solve riddles and gather clues left in the archives. Each challenge will get you closer to opening the locked trunk and completing the historical record. To succeed, you’ll have to work as a team, observe and be creative.
As you play the game, discover how Montrealers coped with the biggest ice storm in Québec’s recent history.
