Event description

The MEM is opening its doors to teens! Come chill in our free spaces, discover our exhibitions and join in an activity.

In February, the MEM invites you to discover the world of “art toys” — figurines that are a cross between art and design, inspired by streetwear, graffiti and pop culture.

During this workshop, you’ll learn how artists like KAWS and Kasing Lung turn their ideas into characters. Next, you’ll get to design your own figurine inspired by the energy, colours and sounds of Montréal — everything that makes this city special to you!

Once you’ve sculpted and painted your figurine you can turn it into key chain — a little piece of Montréal to carry around with you like a portable work of art.
