Event description

How do we keep community memory alive? How can organizations preserve community stories while respecting the ethics surrounding their practices?

This event will tell the story of Stella, l’amie de Maimie’s 30 years of structured or informal archival collections through a presentation of some of its most recent artistic archiving projects and the screening of a podcast episode.

This evening is intended for anyone interested in preserving collective histories, and especially for marginalized communities seeking ways to maintain their visibility.

This activity is free and open to everyone.
