Event description

Every season, the MEM invites visitors to a unique happy hour event. With music, drinks at the bar, and an original theme, the atmosphere is fun and relaxed. Off-the-wall evenings are for curious adults who love Montréal culture, games and festive experiences, and who are looking for an outing that’s out of the ordinary!

For this special edition, held on the day the Montréal Olympic Games opened 50 years ago, the museum will become a true playground. Join us for an evening inspired by the Olympic spirit and relive memories shaped by a desire to excel, camaraderie and celebration.

In a festive, dynamic atmosphere filled with sports references, explore the museum in a new way and (re)discover how sport occupies a central place in Montréal’s history and identity. From the 1976 Summer Games to hockey, baseball, winter sports and municipal leisure activities, this evening celebrates a sports heritage that has shaped the city, its neighbourhoods and its iconic locations.

On the program: music with retro and Olympic accents; fun challenges inspired by the main competitions; nods to the opening ceremony and nostalgic memories of the Games; and a bar to refuel between challenges. Whether you’re a weekend warrior or an enthusiastic fan, you’re invited to join in, watch and get caught up in the collective energy.

An evening where you can move, play and, especially, celebrate Montréal 50 years after the city welcomed the world.

One beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) is included with your ticket..
