Event description

This sensory activity invites you to discover the history of Montréal by exploring spaces in the museum, mainly through touch. By touching and listening to certain elements and content, you will come to understand how the city has changed and developed over time, gradually covering the entire island.

As you walk around the museum and engage with various elements, you’ll develop a new appreciation for Montréal and its stages of expansion. The activity focuses on direct contact with materials and objects to promote an understanding through the senses and experiential learning.

This activity is geared towards both non-sighted and sighted individuals. It is an inclusive way to discover the history of Montréal, highlighting diverse ways of perceiving and relating to a place, past and present.
