Event description
For this fourth event promoting cultural mediation and the dissemination of historical knowledge, we’re delighted to welcome the Atelier d’histoire Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, the Atelier d’histoire de la Pointe-aux-Trembles and the Société historique Cavelier de LaSalle .
Representatives from the Atelier d’histoire Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve will lead two activities:

Discover the Atelier’s treasures through its iconographic catalogue and learn how this unique platform was created.
The heritage dilemma
Using concrete examples from Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, the Atelier invites you to assess the heritage value of buildings and think about which ones should be preserved.
The Atelier d’histoire de la Pointe-aux-Trembles and the Société historique Cavelier de LaSalle will talk about the history and heritage of these neighbourhoods bordering the St. Lawrence. Starting at 1:30 p.m., there will be a series of mini-lectures about the river, revealing a wealth of historical knowledge.
