Come celebrate life, joy and enthusiasm with the Festival du bonheur de Montréal. Say goodbye to winter blues and hello to happy times!

Movie time: the perfect mood-booster

As part of the 7th edition of the Festival du bonheur de Montréal, come watch inspiring short films selected by the non-profit organization Montréal la plus heureuse, in collaboration with Wapikoni, Youth Fusion and Australia’s RE-Generation International Youth Film Festival (RIYFF).

All of the MEM’s exhibitions may be visited free of charge during Nuit blanche à Montréal.

Screenings and Q&A with directors in attendance on Saturday, March 28, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. (doors open at 2 p.m.).

Le bonheur haut en couleurs

Optimistic writing, photo embroidery, screen printing, organic sculpture . . . discover these creative techniques and more in zines presented by seniors from eight Montréal boroughs!

This exhibition is the fruit of the project “Le bonheur haut en couleurs,” carried out by Montréal la plus heureuse with the participation of 15 community organizations and public institutions.

Exhibition of lively and luminous creations on the MEM’s clotheslines from March 24 to 29, 2026.

Come chat with the talented creators on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Participants will read their texts out loud at 2:30 p.m.

Montréal la plus heureuse thanks the governments of Canada and Québec for their support through the Québec ami des aînés program. The project “Le bonheur haut en couleurs!” was funded in part by the Canadian government through the New Horizons for Seniors Program. The exhibition is presented as part of the 7th edition of the Festival du bonheur de Montréal, funded by the federal government.
