Event description
The cultural programming around Détours – Urban Experiences is an opportunity to meet the Montrealers featured in the exhibition and take part in experiences tied to their unique worlds.
This summer, we’re heading outside the museum! A fruit tree owner is opening the gate to his garden for a fruit picking morning. The activity will be led by Les Fruits Défendus, a Montréal urban fruit-picking collective that puts fruit tree owners in touch with volunteer pickers. They’ll offer tips on how to pick and use the fruits. The harvest will be shared among fruit tree owner, the volunteer pickers and a food security organization.
This activity is reserved for visitors with tickets to the Détours exhibition..
The picking date will depend on when the fruits ripen. Registered participants will receive notification of the exact date.
