Event description

How Well Do You Know Your Chinatown? is a project developed with actors in Montréal’s Chinatown community.

The exhibition offers an authentic portrayal of this neighbourhood and shares the memories of those who built it and made it their home. It also invites visitors to test their knowledge. The history and identity of Chinatown are revealed through its buildings and heritage, the valuable memories of its residents, and the struggles of its defenders.

This project was made possible through an agreement between the Ville de Montréal and the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration, as part of the Dialogue avec le Quartier chinois initiative.

Bilingual exhibition: French and Chinese
