Event description

In this presentation, curator and filmmaker Karen Cho will reflect on the process of transforming nearly 130 years of history into the living exhibition Wing Noodles – The Heart of Chinatown, as well as the process of capturing the company’s final weeks of production and legacy in a forthcoming documentary film.

Focusing on the era from 1964 onwards, when Wing Noodles occupied one of Chinatown’s most historic and iconic buildings, the presentation will also invite us to reflect on how the past can inform the future of this famed city block.

The show will be followed by a get-together with the artists and people behind the project.

The talk will be presented in English.
