In collaboration with the Archives lesbiennes du Québec, the MEM is delighted to offer a guided tour of the Plateau Mont-Royal featuring iconic places in the history of Montréal’s lesbian community.

Explore the tangible and intangible traces of the community’s golden age in the neighbourhood, in the 1980s and early 1990s. As you make your way through the streets of the Plateau, with stops at apartments, parks and businesses, you’ll learn about the lesbians — residents, activists, artists, students and professionals — who fought hard to create a space for themselves and raise their visibility in Montréal. You’ll also have an opportunity to meet with members of the community.

By purchasing a ticket for the tour, you will have access to the museum. You can use your museum ticket whenever you like. Just give your name to the MEM guide on the day of the tour.
