Event description

The “by and for” concept refers to an approach whereby marginalized communities use their knowledge, experience and aspirations to take back power by creating spaces that meet their needs. What does “by and for” mean and where did the concept originate? Who is behind organization efforts in different communities? What does the expression “focused on marginalized communities” mean?

During this round table discussion, co-organized by Stella, l’amie de Maimie, the organizers of various social movements will talk about lessons learned from human rights struggles. It is an opportunity to get inspired and imagine more inclusive futures together.
