This screening is presented as part of the exhibition Active Grieving: The Aesthetic Activism of ACT UP Montréal, created by the Archives gaies du Québec with the MEM’s support. Expanding on the exhibition content, the film sheds a different light on HIV/AIDS, grieving and citizen engagement. It features images of ACT UP Montréal, echoing the activist memories highlighted in the exhibition.
