Our cultural programming around Detours is an opportunity to meet people featured in the exhibition and to take part in activities linked to their remarkable worlds.

Come and discover the world of Jeunes Marins Urbains, an organization that, for the past 10 years, has been introducing Montrealers sailing — from building sailing rowboats to navigating.

The day-long activity will take place in Pointe-aux-Trembles. In the morning, you’ll build a model boat in the park. After a picnic lunch, you’ll head to the river for an introductory rowing and sailing lesson.

Buy your tickets to visit the Detours exhibition and sign up for the activity. Each ticket purchased (adults, seniors, teens) is valid for one model boat, which you’ll build during the workshop — on your own or with your family (one adult and one or two children).

The activity is reserved for children aged 6 and older. Participants under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.

Limited number of places.
