From 1974 to 2026: Montréal On Pace With World Cycling – Mini exhibition

This photo exhibition in the MEM’s Clotheslines area looks at 50 years of cycling history in Montréal, from the 1974 UCI Road World Championships to the upcoming event in 2026. Through the photos on display, discover the athletes, competitions, courses and celebrations that have left their mark on the city over the decades.

This installation invites visitors of all ages to rediscover Montréal from a new angle and to follow, image by image, the history of a passion that’s been firing up our city for more than 50 years.
