MEM Gift Shop-Café
A café, a dep, and a gift shop stocked with Montreal products? The MEM Gift Shop-Café is all that and more!
Evoking an iconic Montreal convenience store and snack bar, the MEM Gift Shop-Café offers a range of quality local products that will please Montrealers and tourists alike.
On the shop side, you’ll find a selection of 100% local objects, typical of Montreal. Books, decorative objects, kitchen items, candies that bring back childhood memories, and other little trinkets. The carefully selected items—some created exclusively for our shop by artists and artisans—will bring an original Montreal touch to your gifts or souvenirs. We prioritize local know-how by giving designers and producers from the region the opportunity to showcase their products and make them available to all. Each object is closely linked to the city of Montreal, whether through its history, its manufacturing method, or its connection to an emblematic place.
On the café side, our baristas will tempt your taste buds with coffee prepared using beans from our supplier, a Montreal micro-roaster whose company and products are certified carbon neutral. Teas, chocolate, and a wide variety of cold drinks are also available. To satisfy your cravings, the menu also includes a soup of the day, pastries, and snacks for all tastes. Purchases can be taken out, eaten on-site at the counter, or on the adjacent indoor terrace.
All the products sold at the Gift Shop-Café are local and are chosen for their minimal environmental footprint or their participation in the circular economy.
As a bonus, peek into our retro counter to explore a few objects from the MEM collection relating to the convenience stores and snack bars of yesteryear!
