The annual exhibition of family treasures presented by students taking part in an educational program for welcoming classes.

This year, four secondary-level welcoming classes took part in the project Vous faites partie de l’histoire ! (You’re part of history!) This MEM educational program helps students create an exhibition in their school highlighting their journey and first impressions of Montréal, their new home.
The MEM team shared a wealth of information about the city with the participating classes. In turn, they asked each student to choose and present a treasured object evoking one stage of their personal story or that of their family.
Our Vitrine showcases the family treasures that each class selected, along with texts telling the stories behind these valuable objects. Also on display are treasured items belonging to the facilitators who guided the teens throughout their discovery of Montréal’s history, as well as their conversations about adapting to life in the city and hopes for the future.
This year's Vous faites partie de l’histoire ! program was made possible thanks to the financial support of the Centre de services scolaires de Montréal.
