Event description
This exhibition pays tribute to donating — an act that is often discreet and almost invisible to the public, yet essential to the MEM’s activities. Whether donated objects are displayed in exhibitions or included in cultural outreach activities, each one becomes a tangible witness to Montréal’s history.
These objects also hold the stories of individuals and families in Montréal — stories that are sometimes modest and often unexpected, but that deserve to be told. In each donation, a small part of our humanity is shared.
