The MEM and the City of Montréal’s archaeological collections repository invite you to meet residents of the Faubourg Saint-Laurent, the historical neighbourhood where the museum is currently located. Archaeology in the Faubourg Saint-Laurent: 19th century lives and artefacts presents three faubourg families through objects associated with them. These artefacts were found by archaeologists during digs planned by the City of Montréal. This exhibition offers a special opportunity to discover fragments of the past that reveal rich and familiar lives.
