Event description
What do a red square from 2012, an Alouettes pennant and an Expo 67 passport have in common? They’re all red! For the holiday season, the MEM wanted to look at its collection from a new angle. Choosing a festive colour as a starting point, the collections team had fun selecting an array of artefacts in the same shade.
The resulting mini-exhibition is a fun opportunity to discover various meanings of the colour red in Montréal’s history through a wide variety of pieces from the MEM’s collection.
Let’s roll out the red carpet for these star objects from our storage facilities!
